Description & Specifications
Unleash the power of Nitro's top-tier 120 roller chains, meticulously crafted for unparalleled strength and endurance. Engineered from a specific blend of carbon and alloy steel, our chains achieve the highest levels of wear and fatigue resistance through precise heat treatment and shot peening. Nitro's 120 roller chains feature a robust riveted construction, enhancing strength in demanding applications. Each 10' roll of our 120 ANSI chain includes 1 connecting link.
Adhering strictly to ANSI B29.1 standards, Nitro #120 chains meet the exacting dimensional and strength requirements for American roller chain sizes. This commitment to ANSI compliance ensures seamless compatibility with any ANSI #120 roller chain sprocket, seamlessly integrating into your machinery with ease.
The 120 ANSI chain is commonly known as a 1-1/2" pitch chain, denoting the distance between the pins.

Features
Solid Roller
Manufactured with solid cold-forged rollers for smoother contact with the sprocket teeth and to resist distorting under heavy loads.
Solid Bushing
Built with solid cold-forged bushings for superior wear resistance that results in service life 2x to 3x greater than split bushing chains. See the solid bushing advantage.
Pre-Loaded
After assembly, all Nitro chains are pre-loaded to a minimum load required by the industry standard. Pre-loading seats the chain joint that eliminates any initial elongation in a new chain.
Lubrication
Pre-lubricated in a special formulated lubricant through a hot-dipping process. This process is critical to ensure the lubricant penetrates and thoroughly coats the internals of the chain. The special lubricant offers better retention (less spin-out) and improved wear protection over chains that are cold-dipped.
Heat Treated
Advanced heat treatment is applied to achieve optimum hardness for strength and wear resistance.
Shot Peened
To combat fatigue failure from repetitive loads & wear, a compressive stress layer is added through shot peening.
Product Care & Maintenance
Maintenance and lubrication is crucial in the overall performance and life span of roller chain. Proper lubrication will reduce abrasion, chain wear, friction, noise and keep chains running cooler at higher RPM's. You can download the Nitro Roller Chain Care below.
